The New Silk 18 Shampoo by Maple Holistics

Hey guys, I wanted to come on and talk about something that I don't usually talk about...my hair! Just incase you didn't know Im natural and have been for almost four years and one of the biggest things that I had to learn was how to properly moisturize and care for my natural hair. I didn't realize how delicate and temperamental my hair was until I went natural. I am always searching for the best products for my hair. With a haircare industry so flooded with products promising you the world its hard to find a really good quality brand that uses natural products, enter Maple Holistics

Now if you have been following my blog for a while then you should already be familiar with Maple Holistics because I have talked about them in an older post "My love affair with argon oil" and boosted about their products and business ethics. I knew they had a haircare line but never got around to trying it until now. They were kind enough to send me the newest Silk 18 shampoo from their Silk 18 collection.

What I liked about the Silk 18 shampoo is that is was very light weight and didn't weigh down my curls. It had a nice lather which was unexpected since its sulfate free and got my hair clean without leaving it feeling dry and stripped of its moisture. According to Maple Holistics website the Silk 18 shampoo is infused with 18 amino acids that protects against damage, split ends, breakage, dryness, and hair fallout. This shampoo helps strengthen and fortify hair follicles while helping improve overall scalp health and is enriched with two of my favorites jojoba and argan oil. I really like this shampoo but nothing is perfect and there are a few things that I didn't really care for the first being the scent. The shampoo has a vanilla scent which isn't overpowering and some people might love it but Im not a fan of those types of scents in products. The second thing that I didn't really care for was the squeeze bottle, like with the scent I just prefer a pump with my products because in my opinion its easier to use in the shower. Those are just my personal opinions but that doesn't change the fact that I really liked the product! Have you tried any of Maple Holistics products?

xx,
Teeara
